PSA : Soraka's W can heal minions, making for the most annoying creep denial tool.

Next time you play Soraka support, shove your enemy up to their turret, and then heal the minions as they try to CS them under the turret - they're going to miss a LOT of them. Coincidentally, you can also land your Q much easier while they're under the turret, offsetting the resource usage. This lets you build up a decent CS lead if you keep doing this for a while, as they'll miss a few creeps from each wave at a time.

Do it just for the lolz otherwise, the tilt will be unreal.

If her rework on the PBE goes through this tip will no longer be applicable. Her W will only work on champions.

Yeah, there's a reason why that isn't a viable strategy. Anyone that isn't Steel VI knows to focus Soraka. If she heals a carry, you have to worry about being outtraded. If she heals a minion, she basically harassed herself for you.

I still think having a large durable champion (i.e. 6 stack Cho'gath, Nautilus) standing on top of a creep is more annoying.

I mean, (IIRC) there is a "target non-champion only" button for a reason, but I don't use it often enough to remember the key-binding off the top of my head.
