Would it break the game?

Hopefully I am posting this in the right board and it doesn't get removed.

I thought of a slight change to an ability on a champion and pondered if it would cause huge problems. Deciding to share the idea I also thought, 'Hey, what if we make it a game?'

So, the idea is to make 1 small change to any ability of a champion. The idea is to keep it to a small level of change. Please feel free to join in or comment on whether you think it would be game breaking.

My change: Swain 's E ability can be cast on towers. For those who may not know, his E increases the damage he deals to the enemy it is on. Would it be game breaking though?

No. Ziggs already melts towers faster than that change could possibly make Swain destroy turrets

Do you have any ideas that might seem odd or fun?

It would be a pointless change. All it would do is allow him to shove a lane a little harder. He's not like Ziggs who gets massive multipliers vs turrets and a turret execute. Afterwards, he'd still have the same problems as pre-buff in general gameplay. Slow, unkillable if ahead, AI if behind. Nothing about the pros and cons would change really besides that his autos would do a little more to a turret for a few seconds.

That is what I decided, I did hope someone would add another small change to make it into a game. xD Is there a small change to a champ you think would be interesting?

I think make Yasuo's windwall cost flow, giving him a percentage of the time he gets now based on the percentage of flow he spends. So you can never not have the windwall up, but say you have 50% of your flow, make it so you only get it for two seconds instead of 4, or if you have 25% of your flow bar filled, the windwall only lasts 1 second.

However I understand this could hurt him hard, so maybe have it scale. Maybe make the max flow windwall last longer than currently, so like 5 seconds to compensate or something. Also a minimum flow would need to be established, it'd be unfair to take Yasuo's reactive skillshot blocking away. So maybe the minimum is .5 second windwall for anything less than 12.5% flow just so that he can, if windwall is up, always block an incoming skillshot no matter his flow.

Yasuo is far overtuned. His statistics don't directly show it, largely due to his massive skill ceiling and how many unskilled players attempt to use him. However, some of League's best players (Apdo/Dopa) say that he is way overloaded kit wise, and that mainly the reason for his struggling is people do too well early on and throw later on thinking they're too strong. His kit is certainly overloaded, and I think giving him a cost for an amazing ability aside from a cooldown would be appropriate.

I'd prefer he needs to spend 50% of his flow to cast it in the first place.

I usually don't care how long it lasts, because usually it's to block my 1 skillshot (Riven main here), or if I'm an ADC I'd just run away when he casts it so he has to leave it to fight me.

Ooooo a Riven player. Is there a small change to any of her abilities you would like to modify?

How about E can cancel CC? [slayer-jinx-wink]

How about - increase Q cooldown slightly, every passive empowered auto reduces the cooldown of Q by 1 second.

Interesting. Didn't that turn out to a be a problem on Rengar though? Course maybe that had to do with both a CC immunity + heal.

That sounds interesting. How much of an increase? Would you go with 3 seconds to balance that or something longer or shorter? I think it would be an okay mechanic in terms of reset.

That first part was a joke dude, there used to be a bug where Riven could cancel certain CC's by E'ing or Q'ing or some combination of the two at the correct time. The boards and everyone was raging so hard about it.

And yeah, I'd give it 3 seconds increase or so, so the cooldown is the sane if a Q only fast combo was used, and if Riven sticks around she can lower the cooldown slightly more. Makes it harder for her to fuck you by Q'ing into range because you only have 1 dissengage and she's too tanky (she's not that tanky, but it's decently hard to kill her in a 1v1 if she E's well) to kill.

Increases the effectiveness of kiting out Riven's Q's, so you can kite her and DPS her down after she burns them, which is pretty important, as Riven's low Q CD removes a lot of her counterplay if you can't kill her before it comes up again (or if you're damage is just that much better than hers unless she uses 100% of her damage, aka juggernauts)

Funny thing is I was just think about the windwall not long ago. My take on it is it is similar to Braum's Shield in regards of blocking everything ranged. The only difference is Braum takes damage, at a reduced rate granted.

So what if Yasuo took reduced damage from the abilities and ranged AA? Sort of like debris from a shot being destroyed. It could either cost him flow, per the normal getting hit when full; or completely ignore it, as say Morg spell shield or Galio W passive to anything non magic.

I think adding a cost with his generated passive does sound intriguing. I don't think it would break the game to do or make him useless. Thank you for participating. :)

i would make the following nerf to yasuo:

wind wall can not be cast while dashing, and dash can not be cast while casting wind wall (small 0.5 or more internal cooldown)
