Riven vs Illaoi

I prefer Illaoi. I find her easier and overall more fun, while she isn't as good I think fun outweighs meta. There's nothing like getting ganked and then E ing someone and then clicking R and killing them both. Works every time.

Riven, more carry potential but harder to play. Illaoi’s stuff can be dodged

How did you end up with these 2? You couldn't have picked more different champions had you tried.

If you like to combo and micro you want riven. Huge outplay potential. Illaoe isn't in a good spot really, she is too immobile and her shit is waaaay telegraphed. Especially the tentacle indicators in the floor fuck her big time.

Illaoi is easier I think, riven is more rewarding overall

Riven's easy mode, so I'd recommend her if you want an easier start, Illaoi is going to take some more effort and prediction

Illaoi will allow you to smash low elo players, whereas Riven requires you to know how to play it. You could however be a decent human being and not play either of them.

Riven is more mechanically intensive champion wise if you want to play her at the highest level, but Illaoi is more about game knowledge, positioning, and timing imo. You need to join the fight at the correct time and also use your ult in the right spot. With Riven you need to know your combos and know the target you need to burst down.
