The Blue Essence does not benefit players that are in the middle....

I hand no problem with** Riot **changing things up and converting IP into Blue Essence; I thought it was a good innovating idea. Then I come to realize I hardly got anything out of it. It turns out that I did not purchase TIER 3 RUNES so I was not even able to qualify for the BE Mission. I received about 3500 BE which I have no clue what from. Before that date I was working myself up and understand the lengths of this game which I really enjoyed.

I did not yet have the understanding of the importance of runes although I did buy some TIER 1 RUNES, but I understand that was my mistake. They did mention that if you did have RUNES you would receive compensation but told us a bit too late. I spoke to a Riot Employee and he directed me to a article where they explained thoroughly more of the changes, but it turns out that the article was posted on November 9, 2017. It says, ". . . for runes you bought before the beginning of the 2017 season, we'll give you 100 IP for each regular tier 3 rune, and 300 IP for each tier 3 quint. For any runes you bought since the beginning of the 2017 season, we’ll refund the full IP cost." In the whole article it does not specify if you NEEDED to buy TIER 3 RUNES just that you receive a certain amount for the ones you have purchased. I now understand that I am at lost for not playing the game enough and for not purchasing the runes sooner.

HOWEVER, what I do not understand is why they made it so hard to obtain** BE** for those who did not have the chance to buy runes and rune pages prior the date given (September 1, 2017). So I am sitting with a low amount of about 700 BE currently do to the fact that I received a Time Capsule and wanted to unlock a champion. So what I do not understand is why limit the way we obtain BE and remove it from playing games. The only people that are truly benefiting are the new players. I'm glad that Riot has created a system that helps the new coming players but what about the OTHERS? Yes I understand that they need to attract more but did they forget about older players? I do not classify myself as a new player nor an older player, so whats in it for the players in the MIDDLE like myself? I have talked with older players and I've also seen Boards with older players dissatisfied with these new changes.

I only hope that others like myself will benefit from this new change eventually. Although they did this to attract new waves of players they seemed to have forgotten some of us.
