To Rengar mains, have any advice that you can share?

Have about 300,000 mastery points on Rengar, I'd say I know his mechanics from the back of my hand. I know who I can beat easily and who I may have a bit of trouble with. I know the Combos and when to use em, I know all the bush jumps to jungle creeps and I feel confident in saying that I'm really comfortable with the jump range that I can tell If I can reach anyone from top, mid, bot lane bushes, or any bush for that matter. However, I'm perhaps still a very terrible Rengar player as I'm hovering in silver 1 for the past month I'd say. Got to Gold promos twice and unfortunately failed both of them.

I have some troubles with certain aspects of Rengar but overall I'd like to get as much as advanced advice as possible. For example of a few of the problems I encounter is;

Firstly, I tend to have difficulty trying to snowball. Trying to get the first few kills becomes really hard. Some games all my lanes are pushing and I just farm in the meantime, but when the enemy pushes it I try and take my chances. However, in many cases they would flash and heal away (bot) or if it's top or mid they'd eventually retreat and I would be back farming until I get another opportunity. I Fail to get ahead of the rest of the enemy team and eventually either an enemy laner gets ahead or my chances to snowball close up and I have little potential in carrying the game myself and heavily depend on my team.

Secondly, I have issues with trying to grasp on what to do if I'm behind. Ganking certain laners who are ahead becomes a risk as it could end terribly and I could give off a kill to them.

Thirdly, I don't understand what I can do more than wait until one of the enemy breaks away from their group in the late game. On my own I can't do much, especially versus certain match ups where I will be just obliterated if I go for the enemy adc in a teamfight.

Also, what do I do versus unfavourable match ups? and what can I do to get better?

Lastly, what should be doing if my team is behind, or if we're losing all our lanes. also, what is my top priority as a Rengar?

This is just a few problems that I encounter and I would like to know as much as possible. Thanks in advance.

Are you a jungler rengar or top rengar? On twitch if you select LOL and select rengar in the tags you can find some interesting educational streams. They can be helpful with your questions.

I'm not a Rengar main by any means (I actually avoid playing Jungle as much as possible because I suck at it)

and I don't know if you'll heed my info/advice or ignore it

  1. Tweak your build accordingly; many people get stagnant on their build when they get into a groove on a Champion, not altering it to fit the needs of your team and the weaknesses of the enemy team.

  2. Ganking isn't always viable or smart; just because you are the jungler doesn't mean you can or should gank. Every lane may tell you other wise, but sometimes farming up creeps to get a bit of an item lead can make or break the difference in a fight.

  3. Play smart; if you are able to make a move on the enemy, ping first, so the laner knows to either back off; continue the push, or hold the line. If someone pings for help in a lane, try if you are close by: but if you are on the other side of the map then just give off a general ping so they know that you can't do much because you're not close by.

  4. Play with friends; this can't be stressed enough. While it isn't always possible to play with friends, when you can you at least know they are smarter than your average bear. One thing I notice in many of my games is people don't always ping if an enemy is missing or has used a summoner spell. Thus giving you a heads up that either the enemy might be roaming, or you can make a move.

  5. Realize when the battle is lost; dear gods...so many people don't seem to understand that you can't win every game even if you are playing on your best champions. If you are behind, do the best you can to catch up. If a lane has been lost and their pinging for help, say that you can't do much because that lane is ahead. If possible, try and get an FF up. Losing on your terms is better than playing extra time in a match that there is little or nothing you can do in.

Step 1 go top lane not jungle cause his passive on empower strikes goes away and makes him weak in jungle unless you hunting other jungler . And with the removal of serrated Dirk where you got the lethality item for free for stealing enemy camps makes him weak. Now key stone you can rotate and really doesn't matter to much how ever you would be wise to take transcedance always and me I take nimbus cloak cause hell it's a free ghost and syncs well enough .
