[Suggestion] Indirect change to Exhaust

I think right now Exhaust is in a very OP state. It is pretty much a VS all summoner spell since in the mid-late game it completely outclasses anybody with higher burst damage. My Suggestion is to indirectly make exhaust not a VS all summoner by instead changing some of the other items in game to make Ignite a viable option.

Steraks Gage

  • Buff the item (I believe it is already receiving upcoming buffs on the PBE)

Executioners Calling & Bramble Vest

  • Remove the grievous wounds off of these components so only the completed item gives them.

This way it prevents players getting full Grievous wounds for only 800/900 gold in the early game. This inherently means Ignite becomes a more valuable summoner spell than exhaust for some games since you don't just get a super cheap Grievous Wounds item.

Alternatively these components should be altered to give a weaker form of Grievous Wounds as oppose to the full version.

** Mortal Reminder & Thornmail**

  • The Duration the Grevious Wounds is applied should be extended to 3 seconds or so instead of the 1 it currently is.

This again makes ignite a more valuable summoner which in turn indirectly nerfs the use of exhaust.

I'm of the view if ADC'S need a defensive item to stop them getting bursted then they should be building Sterak's, not relying on the defencive utility Exhaust Provides. The summoner literally shuts out any Fighter/Assassin in team fights which from a balance perspective isn't the best.

I'm aware in the past Sterak's was a good item on ADC since it prevented them getting bursted, & personally I didn't have to much a problem with this. Riot nerfed Sterak's incorrectly by making it scale off of Bonus HP, instead I think they should have just increased the passive CD so it wasn't up constantly.

if they do what u suggest about executioner the healing champions will make the game completely unhealthy.

It doesn't need any changes. Exhaust already went from mandatory to optional as a choice. When it used to halve attack speed every team ran 1 to 3 Exhausts, that wasn't fun.

Exhaust is in a fine spot atm, its job IS to shut down fighters/assassins that get on top of your marksman... Suggesting to - indirectly - nerf it seems a bit silly IMHO
