A version of Phase Rush that would actually make sense....

So currently on PBE Riot is testing a buff for phase rush for melee champions but I don't get the point of this. Phase rush right now is mostly useful on ranged champions and melee champions that already have a gapcloser. So what happens if you buff phase rush for melee champions? It will make oppressive melee Juggernauts even more oppressive in melee match ups when they can sacrifice a damage keystone for more mobility. It will benefit champions like Ekko who can reach their targets easily and then give them the ability to stick or disengage again. It will do absolutely nothing for immobile melee champions that struggle to reach their targets.

It would make the Keystone a lot more viable in general if the buff would trigger from being in combat with champions and then slowly increase based on attacking or being attacked or maybe based on duration in combat. This would mean that any champion could use the keystone and benefit from it aggressively as well as defensively.

But then melee champions would have a chance to deal with ranged, that's not balanced, ranged shouldn't have counterplay.

Ekko has built in phase rush, he does not need it and will never under any circumstances take it.

We don't need any buffs to juggernauts thanks.

Chief, if you buff it like that, imagine how slippery Ryze and Cassio would get. Or any ADC. Like, any adc that isn't Kai would practically gain Kai's E MS for free.

Imo it should be changed only like that: MS for 4 sec - buff 1 sec MS 25%-40% and slow res. 75% but for range it nerfed to 10%-25%
