Azir's Soldiers and Braum's Passive?

I've been thinking about this all day really, I've been wondering how Azir's soldiers will interact with Braum's passive. It's stated that they don't do on-hit effects, like Nashor's, Sheen etc. But when an enemy is in range of them, their attack replaces Azir's own auto-attack, meaning that if the enemy has Braum's passive on them, and they are in range of Azir's soldiers, Azir cannot at all actually proc the passive for the stun, as long as they stay in that range. On the other hand though, if it DOES proc them however, it means that Azir can actually proc the passive twice as fast, due to both soldiers hitting the target. I don't have the PBE unfortunately, so I can't check this sort of thing out, anyone have any information on how these two champions will interact?

Soldiers do not proc on-hits. Braum's passive is an on-hit.

Azir is really weird in this aspect, since his soldiers replace his auto attack except it doesn't really count as an auto attack =/

I don't think his soldier's attacks count as auto attacks, though this is just my assumption based on what I've been seeing; since it doesn't proc Sheen. I'm pretty sure it counts as a "spell", with a similar AoE as Yasuo's Q (except his Q applies on hit effects, which, again, I don't think Azir's soldiers do)
