Something needs to be done about queuing as support

Picking support as your secondary role should not mean "I want to play support every game". I'm real close to dropping it as my secondary role even though its my second favorite position just because it prevents me from playing my favorite position.

A lot of my friends have had similar problems and have stopped queueing as support entirely (including one who queued with support as their secondary then got it in 13 of their first 15 games to start the season - he is now a top secondary.).

The reason something needs to be done soon is that there is a feedback loop. People see that nobody else is queueing as support, so they will always get put at support if they queue it. So they don't queue as support secondaries because they want to play their primary role sometimes. So there are even fewer support secondaries, so the few remaining people who do queue support will get stuck with it an even higher percentage of their games. Which leads them to get upset about it and drop it - and the cycle continues.

Even picking fill as secondary usually lands you as support

I made my own post on a somewhat similar subject a while ago. I am not going to link it because I got like 2 replies total but I made the argument that if one selects the "Fill" option then your second position should be the position you don't want to play as there are a number of people (like me) who will play any role but there is one role that they are really bad at. I understand that this might not be exactly what you are looking for but I felt as though I should mention this because this would mean you could fill and statistically there would be a higher chance that you wouldn't get support.
