What I don't understand is that this problem doesn't exist in diamond.
My Dia Games are mostly pretty homogeneous. 10 Dia 3 players all with winrates between 50% and 57%.
On my G1 Smurf I have Silver, Gold and Plat players in each team with winrates between 30% and 90%
Maybe the avarage Elo of each team is the same but not the rank of each player.
That means Plat2 botlane vs Gold4 botlane Silver1 Jungle vs Plat4 Jungle etc.
And this makes the games in lower Elos completely RNG and coinflippy.
And often it's even the case that the Silver players are the ones with 70%+ winrate because they are actually Dia or Master Smurfs. And then this Dia Smurf with 89% winrate on his Silver Acc plays vs that Gold 2 Dude with 51% winrate. You can imagine who will win.
But how is it possible that Dia Games are way more even than low Elo games??
Isn't the pool of players waayy bigger in low Elo?
Shouldn't it a lot easier to create even games in Silver/Gold/Plat than in Dia+?
And when it's possible in Dia+ why isn't it possible in lower Elos??
