Advice on Udyr

So. Lately I've opened a chest and found the ultimate Udyr skin, so I decided to try him (just for that lol). I forced myself to play him because of that skin, and after few - poorly played - losses, Udyr started to grow on me. Now I was looking for guides to tell me builds and stuff, but barely found an updated one so I guess if you have a strong build (def oriented but with sustained damage) just advice me on how to build him! I thought to give him a go since I read, also, that he's going to be buffed. So my playstyle as Udyr is Tiger (I only unlock Phoenix at level 16 when it happens), and I usually build: , then (mainly for movement speed), now for magic res I am really undecided between or , and then again the other 2 items are always uncertain when it comes to build them. I usually build depending on the comp I'm against to but my best choices would be and . Any advice on how to optimize the Tiger style? What about shoes, also?

Step 1: Don't play Udyr.

Udyr really needs a rework. He is just a splitpush tank and barely that.

I'm a avid Udyr player myself for quite some time but if you decide to use Tiger build then highly suggest you get Tiamat as soon as possible. It will help clear out camps much easier but right now Phoenix is the superior one till new buff which I'm hoping its a great one looking forward to it. Devourer seems alright but people still tend to build him the semi-tanky way since he has to literally run into battle so he you would need that extra health. Honestly either Juggernaut or Warriors. If you don't want that HP burn then getting big damage early game is a big deal with tiamat on Tiger. Most of the choices you picked ain't bad except for Zz'rot isn't worth it anymore. Sterak's Gage seems like a interesting item to try out I still build the tank Phoenix for ranked but I would like to see other's idea on Tiger build. For me personally thou I may be wrong. My item build for TIger = item 1039 + item 2031 > item 3077 > item 1400 > Depends on the situation (If fed first) item 3078 , (Enemy AD fed first ) item 3742 , (Enemy AP heavy) item 3065 , (Core items) > item 3053 (Testing so not 100% sure) > item 3748 .

Get tiamat if your going tiger stance, you need more clear speed
