Locking in

Why has Riot implemented the Lock In option. Maybe to reduce time in champion select? Well nobody ever cares about the amount of time it takes. The "Lock in" button only makes people mad because they have to play a role that they are bad at because somebody is being greedy. Riot, please keep the Lock In button for time reasons, but make it so you can still change champions while you're locked in. Just something to think about to stop a negative environment from brewing before the game even starts.
