Dodging....Permitted?

As the League of Legends community widens, it is clear some players are simply having a bad day. We all get players having a bad day, and sometimes it makes us have a bad day. BUT, what can we do to fix this? Dodging has been frowned upon by the League of Legends dev's for a very long time, and they have experimented with many solutions to this. But, what if the solution was simply to allow dodging?.. Now, don't go crazy. I'm not saying, allow dodging, with no side-effects. But, when we get stuck with that one player that's giving us a headache, and we already dodged twice, to avoid a similar player, the price becomes a little steep. I propose a timer, much like the 24 hr first win of the day. One dodge a day, with no penalty. All around I see this helping the community, as the players who disrupt the game before it even starts. (those champ select ragers, I'm looking at you) There will be 4 players capable of avoiding the game with a player like this, which in turn, will help keep these players from 1.) playing the game. Maybe they'll consider taking a break after 5 6-7 people dodge their game in a row, because of them. and 2.) Keep the community cleaner.

Players who aren't normally toxic, that get stuck in a game with someone who is very much so, can be put in a bad mood and in turn hurt their next team due to tilt. I feel having this option-or at least testing it, will be very helpful.

tl;dr --- many times in champ select you really want to dodge due to a player already being toxic, but you decide not to because you just want to play, and not be penalized for dodging. Solution--- allow one dodge per 24 hrs (on a timer similar to first win of the day) to keep the community a better place, and the games more enjoyable to play, without cost (if you wish to avoid a game that will clearly be not-so-fun to play).

please no :l

if it was allowed with no punishment anytime some1 didnt like the team setups they would leave.

it would make finding matches take longer.

its not that there isn't punishment anytime, but reduced punishment for the first dodge of each day.

every person has this chance. so the amount of players on the server multiplied by 9(total players in a match excluding urself)

you would have a 10% chance of someone dodge queing every match.

that would cause a longer wait que.

I truly believe That dodging is a good strat when you see your inevitable doom but i'm kinda glad that there is a timer. that way you wait 5 minutes and the chance of getting into the same game as the reason you dodged basically is 0. also it really makes you think before you dodge and not just say oh i dont like the team comp and dodge.

Well then maybe reduce the LP lost to 0 for first dodge, or make dodging in series a bit less sincere, since regardless if you think the loss is inevitable, when you're in series, nobody is actually going to dodge; and if you're stuck with someone who is clearly having a bad day, it affects everyone.

I think they have to do somethign like this, idc if timers are longer, there is no excuse that the system right now actually ALLOWS the toxic players to be scott free since as far as the system is concerned, the good people are the ones leaving and getting banned.

People wonder why the community is toxic. Getting a 24 hour leavebuster ban since I ran into 3 assholes really makes me wonder why to even be nice?
