AFKS: How does one carry when it's 3 vs. 5

Afks seem to be a common thing, at least in bronze. I had a blitz straight up tell us as we where about to go in game" I'm afking as soon as the game starts, later nerds". Than a little bit later another ally afk'd making it 3 vs 5.

As a result of being outnumbered, I built resistances. Despite having almost 400 armor and right under 3000 health, enemy Trnd still dealt massive damage to me and what was left of my team.

We tried to surrender, fyi I normally don't surrender, and 2 yes, 1 no. Even when outvoted, surrender did not go thru.

Because things like this are so common, I'm seeking gameplay tips to be a valuable asset to my team.

I've recently taken up playing safe early, pushing objectives when there is an oppurtunity, warding more, and also helping out teammates when I can.

I'm not good with ranged adcs, and prefer melee champs like Olaf, Mordekiaser, and Udyr. With my experience with Olaf and Morde and my mastery over them, I can adapt my gameplay to counter other champions based on thier playstyle, observing thier cooldowns, poking, resistances, counterbuilding, and when to all in.

For example, as Olaf top against Darius I max true damage and sustain whilst building armor, and avoid his Q. Halariously counter Darius, lol.

But how does one carry a 3 vs. 5?

I've beaten plenty of 4v5s but 3v5s are a different story... They're a lot harder, and unless your a godlike ADC with a godlike thresh support and perhaps another godlike teamate who does damage... Chances are slim to none to win a 3v5..

Unless 2 people can perhaps hold off the base while you split push a side lane.. (Because in bronze people seem to think mid lane is a priority. lol) you might be able to give them the slip. and take an inbib... After that it will get harder, they will be watching lanes.. but they may be prone to making mistakes thinking this will be an easy match..

Yeah, during this game, I had taken out objectives by split pushing whenever possible, than went to help take more objectives for my team, and had pushed all the way to enemy base, than would TP in if I could to peel for my team. If I had built just a little more damage instead of heavy defense, I may have taken towers and inhibs even faster.

I really think my gameplay is getting better by counterbuildong, counterplaying, warding, and upping abilities during the present situation, as well as split pushing when I have an oppurtunity to do so. It got me out of bronze V super fast and into bronze III, than had a sudden losing streak and back to bronze V in half a day. I must be doing something wrong, I'm not sure what. I even stopped being so aggresive early, and learned to play safe and sustain(a shame flask and mana pots are leaving, Olaf needs them..) I poke, I farm, I cs, I ward, I focus objectives not kills, I play bots with other champs I dont play so much to learn how to play against them(OP).

I still need improvement on something.

Big problrm is that I'll do so well in lane early, enemies focus me, dive under tower and kill me. Even with 0 kills, because I cs, poke, deny them cs in lane, and ward.

Warding has saved my ass multiple times
