I feel like Leona has so much more potential than just being a support.(not hating on supports I'm a Mastery Level 7 Thresh myself) Given her awesome bulky Garen look, I think she could be way more in lane. Even her skins suggest she's more a fighter than a meat shield. To add to that, she's probably one of the most aggressive supports I've played against. Just wanted to hear your guys thoughts on. she became a support due to lack of damage and her passive...
she wasnt intended as a support , she started to get used as a support due to her cc , and engage for "kill lanes" and she really has never left bot
but have seen her top here there and jungle
Leona can't even really use her own passive, certainly doesn't help when they nerfed her last season. She has no escapes or disengages, all her CC is dealt with melee and while a good player can farm proficiently on her W isn't exactly the best, in most games she'll probably just get shoved under losing a few creeps early on.
the problem with Leona is she doesn't do much other than engage. I would like is she had some form of steroid to give to allies or something, just so she could do something other than wait around in lane trying to E people.
I think she should stay the same, she's got a good thing going. But that's not to say you couldn't take her elsewhere. I saw a pretty good Leona in top lane once, but I am in bronze where anything goes, so take it as you will.
Leona is in a odd place she is a decent support but out classed by a lot of supports, any other position is kind of wonky.
in honestly she doesn't need a full rework in truth, just allow her to proc her own passive, maybe add a Small heal for the amount of damage to who ever procs it.. that would give her support a needed buff, and the ability to jungle / top

For Leona Jungle its just a problem with camp clear but i go for an as tank build so i can stay with dmg cc and another lot of stuff
