So I like to play Shen a lot,in fact,i like playing Shen more than my main so i was wondering how do the other people who play Shen like to play him. As for myself i personally like the tanky-duelist like play-style although I am aware that Riot wants Shen to be played like a warden

It doesn't matter how you like to play/build Shen.
Shen is the most rigid and inflexible champion in this game. It doesn't matter if you go AP, AD, AS, tank, damage, if you are feed or not, if you rush a certain item or not etc. The outcome is the same even with full stacks on Mejai. I tried hundreds of builds from stupid to balanced ones, I tried my own builds and builds copied from tens of other mains. The outcome is always and constantly the same. Same damage dealt/taken, damage composition, healing done, score, impact on game, same dos and dont's, same pros and cons, weak and strong points.
Those are the 2 cores items in my builds for him usually, and then I don't have an usual way to play Shen, I mean I can buy stuff like

I main shen and I build him like full tank items with a titanic hydra with flash and exhaust as a support and flash and ignite when in top and I carried as a jungle shen also.
Depends on what I'm facing.
