Can we get a "Lesser Sightstone"?

Currently, one of the reasons not many people play support is that you have to take the role of a mage or tank on a really low income. Thus, you need a support item. Problem is deciding between upgrading the support item early so you can actually get money or buying an early Sightstone so you don't miss out on vision. Either one winds up with less of the other, you get less gold or you get less vision.

So I thought "What if the sightstone didn't build out of a Ruby Crystal and instead built out of a lesser sightstone?" With a much cheaper sightstone that only holds 1 or 2 charges, the support can finish upgrading their income item so they aren't way behind and still be able to ward. Later, they can finish the sightstone and be able to ward to the extent a support needs to.

I'm always building the "Eyes" as a support (Eye of the Equinox, Eye of the Oasis, Eye of the Watchers) so I can actually get the rest of my build, and as a result, I'm missing out on actives that really help and the item active cdr passive from Ruby Sightstone.

Let me know what your thoughts are.

Personally I'm not sure why they don't get rid of sightstone and give some support items interaction with the trinkets to increase recharge rate or max # charges. You can tack it onto the gold income items if needed. Idk I never liked spending 800g for 150hp and 3 wards. I don't mind one of my primary roles is to help make sure vision is up. However, especially at low ELO, I find myself going through Sightstone after Sightstone of charges and constantly backing (so I am losing XP a lot) because no one else will light up the map with me.

Making the Sightstone cheaper still doesn't fix the main problem with it.

I suggested tying a weakened version of the sightstone passive to boots in place of the old enchantments. That way nobody is forced to give up their item slots or support actives for vision.

If it ends up holding 2 charges at 1/2 the cost, nobody will ever finish building the item. It'll be too cost effective at that point, and an actual waste of gold to finish building it

You mean the yellow trinket? Honestly, I get that supports are the most gold deprived role, but I feel as if people are exaggerating it.
