Why is Anivia so weak?

This champion is really getting outclassed. Maybe too many new champions have been over-buffed and Anivia has been left in the dust.

  • one of the highest mana dependancy in game, if not the highest
  • slowest moving skill shot and auto attacks in the game
  • quite low range compared to other mages
  • extremely low movement speed, which is ironic for a bird. I guess only Quinn is allowed to fly across the map with ease.

You would think with all her drawbacks that her damage must be godly, but it just isn't. In fact, her damage is way outclassed by the majority of champions.

Oh and her passive is just a delayed death. Any champion in the game can easily kill her egg before she respawns.

She has the longest auto range in the game and her E has the same range. She isn't Lux but she is absolutely above most mages in range.

W and R make Q much easier to land, and it is already fairly easy to hit since it takes up half the lane.

She's also a hard counter to all-inning assassins since she can sit under tower with passive up to deny any ignite kills. She also outtrades most other mages if she lands a single Q E and her mana issues are largely irrelevant past the very, very early laning phase thanks to Manaflow Band and item 3070.

She's anything but weak, she just requires more positional play than other mages since she's one of like four characters that can directly affect character pathing.

What are you talking about? Anivia is so strong?

Anivia is always good. You dont even have to be good at her for her to be useful and problematic. Whatever lane she sets up in late game basically insures that the enemy team will not be pushing that lane which is stupid and annoying. She can be 0/5 and she just has to push R to clear and stop any kind of push. And you cant dive her; she has egg so you have to essentially kill her twice just to get her away from the tower so you can siege. It's the least interactive experience come mid to lane game and it always makes me want to scream.

Anivia is perfectly fine. Just a bit boring for me (if you like her more power to you, just not for me) because of how noninteractive laning can be once she hits lvl 6, + her passive. You need to be good at positioning to make the most out of her kit since she is a control mage first and foremost. Anivia

You're just bad at her. She's one of my best mid laners on my main account. Have you seen froggen play her? Also why are you so fucking mad about a champion being weak. It's not like you main her. Go play some other champion. You don't need to start a circle jerk.

Her damage is so low that she feels unplayable. Also her ultimate is a joke.
