Item bans

Maybe Riot should allow 1 item ban per team on top of banning the 3 champion bans, but allow you to ban after champions are selected.

This would effectively be a blanket ban for a large group of champions. For example, one team bans Infinity Edge. BAM. Neither team can now choose a crit-based ADC or Gangplank.

Ban Runic Echos > Neither team can now choose AP junglers Ban Cinderhulk > Neither tema can choose tank junglers Ban Frozen Heart > There is no way to deal with attack speed hypercarries (vayne)

I must agree that this would be a "cool" change, but I do not think it would be good for the game. When you invent a new change, you have to ask the question, "What will this add to the game?" If you want to make builds less static, this is not the right way. Builds are very dynamic even now. While the final builds might be similar for certain champions (ADCs), the paths you take to build up to those are never static.

If you use a static item build every game, it does not mean the game is having a problem, it means that person is a poor player to never adapt.

People are already to stupid / salty to ban chamos or rage quit the queue cause their champ was banned, thus would just make it worse.

the idea is awesome, however there is nowhere near enough items to do this, they would need items to overlap uses but be slightly different, such as an alternate IE where you get 40% increased crit damage but 15% attack speed. its a cool idea but is to much work for riot and could have devastating back lash from the community. riot would essentially need to double the items to consider this. at least need alternatives to the major items in the game, but it seems riot likes all items to be unique and different.
