matchmaking doesn't take into account ranked games when matching for normals, and it gets skewed even further if he plays with a friend WAY below his level.

Its a norms not only that, but hes queued up with friends of lower ranks. If you are a high rank and want to play a game with your lower rank friends its much better that he plays norms rather than hopping on a smurf acc and playing ranked flex.

If you think that's bad I had a game a couple nights where I had to lane against Trick2g :c It was awesome but terrible at the same time lol. It was literally my first top/yorick game in MONTHS and ofc I had to get laned against him while he was doing a charity stream or whatever it was. He was flaming me the whole time. Truly an honour.

Normals are completely separate MMR, so for all you know that Masters player could have silver MMR in Normals.
