Ranked Leveling

I hope I posted this in the proper section. I was in a silver 3 ranked game and was unfortunate enough to get placed with a player on his first ranked game. This player had a total of 66 wins. Needless to say, we were destroyed. Not only is this unfair to me and the other players on our team, but also this guy, who got completely annihilated. I think they should maybe increase level cap again or maybe make it so a certain amount of games need to be played before putting someone in ranked, or at least start them in a less competitive environment. (Silver 3 isn't that competitive I know, but my last few games I have played with players who were previously in Plat and who were currently in high gold.) Thoughts or similar experiences?

I have 65 normal wins. But this also my 3rd account soooooo... I know what your saying though. Mid silver is where the flood of new players start placements since new account mmr is around that level. It is really annoying and I have been saying for years new account starting mmr should be lower. From my experience, if you see someone playing ranked with only that many wins its usually a smurf account or alternate account for them. Obviously not always true, but a vast majority are not actually new players. Unlucky game, hope your next one goes better.

66 wins? Thats a lot compared to the guy i got paired with. He leveled up playing mostly bots, the few norms games he played he did god awful in, so he rushes into rank and gets paired with me on my team. Then goes to blame me cause he loses 1v1 and goes 0/10 by end of laning phase. Count yourself lucky
