Regardless if you like it or not, the implementation of the new HUD was NOT handled well...

New HUD is clearly a work in progress, it should not have made its way into live in its current state. There are glaring problems with it. Yes, Riot is coming up with fixes, but these should have been done in PBE. The fact that it was not put in Rank at the same time is an indication that even Riot thinks it's not ready. How long did RIot work on the new SR? Almost all Season 4! Yes, a HUD isn't a big of scale as a whole new map, but considering it's so integral to the game you'd think they would handle it with the same care. The NA CS has to play their playoffs with the new HUD, despite them having to practice in Rank with the old HUD... I could probably keep writing a whole essay here, but I think I said enough.

TL;DR Riot should have worked more on the new HUD, terrible implementation

Well I have good news for you, my man. If you check over on the subreddit, you'll find that there is now a mod to let you load the old hud instead of the new. So until Riot actually lets us do that as an option in game, you're still good to go if you don't like it.

There are some bugs that are so glaring I can't believe they got through.

  • Like the store being so large it goes off the screen on some supported resolutions?
  • Like not being able to see your Cooldowns while using Zhonya's or being CCed?
  • Like passive abilities never looking like they've been leveled up?

There are other areas where the new HUD needs improvement, don't get me wrong, but these... these are on another level in my opinion. These ones shouldn't have made it out of Riot's offices, let alone out of the PBE, without being fixed.
