Vi is a hella fun champion to play. she can gank early, she has a monster mid game, and has great thematic.

I feel like she does need a buff to her kit though. It seems like everyone is surviving assassins. She can't really go full assassin. She needs either a touch of survivability, more reliability, or just more damage to keep up with other junglers. However, if She did get buffed I can see her being completely unfair.

she is kind of sleeper op if you are aggressive and patient when you need to be.

With how powerful shields and supports are right now, her kit is just not good. She ults a carry and that carry gets a million shields and heals and vi is in the middle of the enemy team getting destroyed.

I don't know how they could help her right now

I prefer to go mostly tank on her, i usualy follow this build: item 1401 item 3748 item 3047 item 3078 item 3194 item 3742

You lose a bit of early power and snowball potential, but you're a tanky beast lategame that can still dish tons of damage while surviving quite a lot of beating yourself.

I feel like going pure damage is a waste on her, she has strong base damage already, and with her W passive and AA resets, she has tons of burst and sustained damage even when built tanky. Also unless you snowball REALLY hard, damage builds tend to fall off very quickly on Vi, and she gets instantly gibbed in teamfights if she's squishy.

IMO she's best right now when she's played as a juggernaut / tank-buster. You get items like what My Hands R 2 Big suggested and even if you can't dive into the enemy team you just wait and punch things until the enemy dives your team or there is an opening to go in on a carry. You deal enough damage with Trinity Force and Titanic Hydra that you can still be a terror to squishies, while your tankiness from the build and the %damage and atk-speed from your W allow you to sit and duke it out with their front-line or Assassins until you have an opportunity.

Her kit is that of a diver but she's actually really powerful as just a tank-buster / peel-bot for her team.

yea because pure damage vi is trash, a character who was designed to dive into a team with no protection deserves to insta die if they go full damage

item 3078 Users are very strong right now, they can build triforce into full tank or if they want a little more damage throw titanic hydra into their build and they'll still put out respectable damage while being pretty tanky. Plus the CC of Vi's point and click ult can't be underestimated, she will almost always be a decent bruiser jungler choice if your team needs some CC and tankyness.

Her only real issue is that before six her ganks are super dependent on landing Q but once she gets ult this weakness goes away. Her versatility gives multiple keystone options she can use successfully, Press the attack or fleet footwork in precision, aftershock in resolve, or even electrocute for some added burst on her Q>AA>E combo.

E being an AA reset with aoe damage speeds up her jungle clears, her passive shield keeps her healthy in the jungle. Vi is over all a solid jungler.
