I finally took a reasonable steps to be less toxic.

Step one: If I am annoyed with someone i criticize them in the most ridiculous way possible so it is fun/light hearted. For example, I would say "be a real fucking American and get your CS up, this country wasn't built on kills alone". Almost taking on a Stephen Colbert persona. Making a point, but being so absurdly ridiculous about that the person can either say something just as absurd back and its funny or they actually take the advice. If I take on the persona and someone still disagrees with me at least they are disagreeing with my persona im presenting and not my actual personality. I know that sounds strange, but I think it keeps me having fun, and its fun for the people who understand satire.

Step two: For every ranked game i lose, I go and play one or two norms with the spot i lost at. Keeps me learning so I feel I am better prepared for the next match up in ranked.

Unfortunately, you can still be banned for this because league players like to get triggered at everything. As soon as you put fucking in anything it's toxic.

You could also not criticize them and look for mistakes you've been making.

How do you like that criticism? I am faultless.
