Is it just me, or do we not get extra gold in invasion?

I decided to try adding some gold runes to my page and get a So I could get better/more gear. I've been using the same build and getting strange results. Without the Spell thief and only the runes, my build was constant. My gold was ticking up so I was getting gold... BUT HERE'S THE STRANGE BIT. It would give me an oddly specific amount of gold at the end of every phase. I'd come out with either X00 or X50. But at the end screen, it said I had more gold than everyone else.

Strange huh?
