Had a bad game yesterday. Gave myself a day to cool off before posting so I can be more objective about it. I still have the same conclusion though: Kayn ulting off blue smite is dumb. I don't like it.
You have a legitimate concern here, people are burying you unfairly.
Guys, the downvote button is for low quality posts, not for burying people who you disagree with.
For what it's worth I think you might have a point here, point-and-click spells remove intended counterplay of skillfully hitting opponents with a spell before being allowed to use the ult on those opponents.
Technically that is his own spell. Chilling Smite augment's Smite, his Summoner Spell.
