Out of all the ults in the game, this has to be the worst.

RYZE! Seriously what is the point in this ult? It's hardly farther then a flash, it's interrupted with any form of cc so it cant be used as an escape. Its so slow to cast so its useless to use aggressively cuz by the time it actually casts you have to flash w anyway which may as well have been the 1st reaction, You cant use it to help another lane because the range is so short you legit have to be in the bottom bush just to get to the center of the lane and you see it coming like 4 seconds before you arrive so there is ample amount of time to escape. So again I ask, why is this ult even a thing? You have champions like Zed who just 1 shot you regardless of how behind they are or champions like Sylas who can take your ult every 20 seconds and has shields and healing for days along with insane gap closers and damage. so we can we please give this poor avatar a little love and give him a ult worth putting a point into at level 6?

This is why Ryze is broken in pro play and bad in low ELO. It is an ult that relies on teamwork.

You can use it to rapidly relocate allies to weird places, bypass wards, or escape a gank you know is incoming. What you cant do is use it reactively like flash, it has a completely different purpose.

dropping a assassin, bruiser or dive mage like vlad or kennen into the back lines.

It's still great for those cheesy end-game fountain dives with 20 minions to tank the laser while you bash the enemies in their own spawn.

The Ryze ult is considered one of the best if not the best ult of competitive, it is also completely useless without proper team coordination.

Why is a champion balanced around fkin pro play with the 0.01% of the playerbase. Instead of solo q, where there is barely any team coordination and the other 99.99% playerbase. Most people don't understand how to play with ryze in low elo thus making his ult essentially useless. Make his ult better for solo q or bring back the old one.

I can say that the most fun I’ve had with Ryze is teaming up with a Nunu & Willump in ARAM, and teleporting a Ulting willump into the middle of a team fight. Basically this but less successful. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Yj3QkD3NJOU
