The new tank items

Hello, as I've been playing these recent patches I've come to a conclusion that each of the new tank items are ridiculous. It frustrates me because Riot keeps putting out champions or buffing champions to the point where they can literally build full tank and duel people who build straight damage. The biggest issue of this game is that tanks do a lot of damage. Tanks should not do an insane amount of damage, to the point where they could 1v2 an ADC or a Mid laner with just tank.

Now I know there's certain champs with damage into their kit like Darius, and there's cons to him such as easy ganks, etc. But champions like Nautilus or Maokai or Malphite should not be able to kill people as fast as they do with just building tank. It's stupid. The tank role should be a nuisance to carries, not a threat.

Anyways, besides all the rage about certain champions who do a LOT of damage with tank items. I want to address the tank items.

There's no reason to make tanks do an insane amount of damage.

Titanic Hydra? Really? You're going to let tanks do 100 extra damage on hit and the active with 400-500? How is that fair? Why can tanks 100-0 carries and the carries can barely get them down to 2/3 hp. Why do tanks deal so much damage?

Each of the new items have just been insane for tanks. It makes them carries who can kill carries rather than to be there while their carries kill.

These tank buffs are really not necessary to the game at all. The warmogs buff gives tanks way too much survivability in sustained fights, the Sterak's Gage is an okay item but the cooldown is way too short. Besides, why do tanks need a statik shiv? (Dead Man's Plate)

There's so many ways for tanks to deal damage now which is not their role. You might as well move the tank role to assassin.z

Tanks have way too many options to deal damage rather than be a tank now. One or two items are okay such as Black Cleaver and Sunfire Cape but tanks are too strong right now.

Leave your thoughts please, I want to hear what you have to say.

Tanks should be able to 1v1, but they should not be able to assassinate people by diving the backline I think their damage should be shifted heavily to reactive damage (countering, thornmail) to reward them for being focused, (and in turn cementing that no, you should not focus the tank) and to keep them from simply being mowed down

I don't like stuff like Gragas and Sejauni 100-0ing the ADC, but tanks should not be impotent when in extended combat

And thus these abominations spring forth:

Warmog's Armor - Reworked GOLD COST: 4000 Bonus Health: 10%, increasing by 1% per minute, up to a maximum of 40% 600 HP UNIQUE PASSIVE - WARMOG'S HEART: When the user has 3500 maximum health or more, Warmog's Heart is activated. This is an effect that can be toggled between health regeneration and damage reduction. This toggle has a cooldown of 60 seconds. Health Regen per second: 2%, gradually decreases to 0.4% over 5 seconds as damage is taken from champions and large monsters. Damage Reduction: 10%, increasing to 20% over 5 seconds as damage is taken from champions and large monsters.

Thornmail: Inflicts Grievous Wounds. B)

These changes would usher forth a new meta where tanks are super durable late game, but have meaningful shifts in power (changing to regen passive to recover from fights, putting their ramping damage reduction on cooldown). With these changes, I'm worried about these champion's damage output because item 3748 exists as an active offensive tool for them and item 3075 as a passive offensive tool.

Sion Sejuani Zac Maokai Gragas TahmKench Damage shifts from their up-front damage to their ramping damage would probably have to happen, and with lower numbers It isn't a lot of fun as an ADC to have a tank run up and mow you down without anything you can do about it. (especially the ones that speed themselves up and slow you. HOW TO ESCAPE?)

Movement speed slows during combat on tank items is one option, and could be a good way to justify such powerful stats on an item besides gold cost, while also making fighters and champions that want to get around quickly during fights shy away from pure tank items.

I'm messing around slightly, but I've always wanted tanks that are seriously durable in this game, and I wasn't around during Mundo's glory days.
