Late game with full items gives you 26%. Comparing his base damage to other AP champions his are low besides his w so his passive really is not that big of a problem.

He's only broken depending on the team comp. Sure, if you're playing a team full of tanks he's going to shred them faster than a Twitch eating cheese because of his passive + item 3151 / item 3116 , but if you're playing against a team with say a Zed (who in my opinion NEEDS FUCKING NERFED AS MUCH AS TANK EKKO) or some other competent assassin that can kill him before the full combo, he's not that bad. He also sucks vs split push comps because he requires his team and the enemy to be somewhat together for maximum yield.

What do you mean? His base damage on ulti e and q also his stun got nerfed. His damage is one big burst now and his poke damage was nerfed due to his passive change. whats the problem?

Played with him. If youre a squishy, brands full rotation can hurt. a lot.

Any character's full combo can hurt a lot. He doesn't actually oneshot anyone with it though, unlike assassins. The only way he'd have a chance of doing so would be if the jungler ganked or he got perfect ult bounces off of minions. One thing he is exceptional at doing is turning a 1v2 into a double kill with good use of his ult.

I played him some games as support and even if I was fed, I couldn't delete anyone like before the rework without the passive. His kit looks nerfed outside of landing the full combo. Before you could W+Q+ignite = dead anyone.

Because they took power from other places in his kit to allow that passive to exist. Brand is not broken, he has always dealt a lot of damage. We just got some more ways to avoid it (by not standing near each others passive explosions)
