Lux does need a longer CD on her ult for sure. She can do it about every 30 seconds, it does great damage, and it's range is huge.

your clueless. The guy wants to nerf a tier 2 or 3 champ (niche) that is on the low side of the power budget curve.

The idea is so stupid that the idea of trying to have a conversation about it lowers tolerance i have for people on these boards.

But rather than explain Lux's weaknesses that make up for her 30 second, high damage, long range ultimate, you jumped to degrading someone because of their rank. It's the same thing, every single time. No one explains why someone's wrong so they can improve, they just pull rank and leave.

I know what proof means, however you're generalizing in a way that invalidates your claim. Using what he said you can prove that he is bad at talking balance, but you can't say that everyone of his rank is as well.

Also using the word should makes your claim next to impossible to support, as whether or not free will is to be supported in this case is an issue we could unsuccessfully debate for years.

I actually enjoy playing against Lux, because she has specific strengths and weaknesses that make it feel like an actual battle of skill to face her, as opposed to the fight being decided by our respective champions (which many mid matchups can feel like.)

Entirely skillshot based, so her hitting / you dodging is based on the players' respective skills.
Long cooldowns on her basic skills give you large windows of opportunity to react to her.
Relatively low base damages on her skills (before she gets AP) means she has a somewhat hard time clearing waves and needs to put herself at risk to farm with autoattacks, again giving opportunities to play against her.
Real mana costs on her skills means that you can actually play around her mana pool during the laning phase, unlike many modern champions who have no or very low mana costs and can spam their spells without really thinking about them.
Relatively fragile when you get near her, even through her shield. If she can't manage to peel you off with her Q and you get close to her, she's probably dead (very much depending on which kind of champion you are playing, of course.)

These weaknesses make up for her strengths of having long ranges, a great burst combo with decent CC, and an ultimate on a very short cooldown, and make me feel that Lux is one of the best-balanced champions in the game.

Buy Lux and play mid with her! She's actually one of the best champs to learn LOL's mechanical fundamentals! :D

Yi is fair, you can cc and kill him. What are you supposed to do about the Mejai stacking Lux that nukes your entire team from 2k range?

Yi was just a joke since he tends to be the bane of new players. :P

Lux's Ult has some warning that it's coming, seeing the red line of doom is your warning to move if you can!

Also, I gotta ask, What entire team is getting nuked by ONE Final Spark? Did you have no tanks? No one with MR? Did anyone change they're build to compensate for her getting off the hook? Usually that move needs to trip her passive do really big damage, Sounds like she was just really fed to me.; If that was the case, who the champ is doesn't really matter too much. :P

Lux is probably one of the better mid laners. Her recent QoL buff to pre-detonate her E is actually a huge boon to her gameplay. The skill is now impossible to dodge given that Lux aims at where you are. Once the slow procs, she will have an easier time following up with a Q and ultimate.

Still, she isn't overpowered by any means compared to better picks mid lane such as LeBlanc, Viktor, or Annie.
