How to deal with ranged champs in lane as melee?

If u get close to them they poke u. if u wanna go on them, they kite u. If u wanna farm they poke u. If u wanna trade u can't. because they have higher range. How to deal with them?

Give me some matchups cause it too general. But most melee champs have gap closers so usually you just chill till they over extend then all in them usually if you can get onto them you will win the all in because range champs little to no defence once you are on top of them

I main four champions, Jhin, Yasuo, Diana, and Kindred. Jhin's long ranged so he's immediately out. Yasuo has his mobility and windwall to help him trade. Diana can poke with Q and once she hits 6 she can gapclose easily with her low cooldown ult, and even burst someone down. Kindred, while ranged, is pretty short ranged compared to everyone else, but she also has her mobility. Mobile champs have their ways.

Now if you mean how to deal with ranged champs as melee ranged, no mobility tanks/juggernauts, then I don't know. Their weaknesses are meant to be the fact that they can be kited for days. Saving grace is probably the fact that you can outrade them in lane if you walk up to them and they don't retreat because innate tankiness and nor out sustain.

Hang back, farm, and wait for your jungler to come in and annihilate them.

Quinn vs Nasus i main Nasus and to be honest you dont win that one she just has too much kite you just have to farm what you can and sustain Ahri vs Akali Akali is a terrible laner and loses most matchups anyways just sit back and farm and then roam once mid game comes around you can kill anyone Akali doesnt need a lot of gold to kill people Lulu vs Fizz kinda the same as Akali except fizz at lvl 6 hits a huge powerspike with his ult and can usually burst people from 100-0 in a all in Lulu is a little rough because she has a lot of anti-all in Kennen vs Riven Riven is a very strong laner and has a shield to midigate poke as well as many dashes to gap close with quite a bit of CC alowing you yo burst someone like Kennan down before they can react
