Consider Why Riot Keeps Dynamic Queue
Well to begin with it is the nature of most people to form packs. This leads to a majority of league players to probably being a part of a premade group. (Would be interesting to see statistics on this). Now to answer why then the boards have been one of the only places to fight against dynamic queue. It's because the overwhelming support shown against this queue started from the boards where intelligent and reasonable discussion, surprisingly, takes place often.Sadly Riot states that they would read and respond to threads of this type but they often ignore it when the topic is regarding dynamic queue or one of the many topics Riot employees seem to be told not to respond to. Off topic slightly, but you do realize, this is ignoring player feedback and being terrible to your customers right? Back on topic, If we were to take a democratic vote two months into the start of dynamic queue the boards and anyone being reasonable/not biased would have voted against it while the remainder of the players(the majority at the time) would have voted for it. They would have voted yes because they didn't consider what dynamic queue meant objectively but only that they would be able to have "fun", whatever there definition for it is, with a group of friends in ranked. Now however even this portion of the players who were once against it are now experiencing the displeasures of dynamic queue. So if Riot's initial justification to keep dynamic queue was to keep the majority of the player base happy at the expense of the minority then it no longer holds true. In the youtube video they mentioned making dynamic queue better but actually have no explanation to how they will do this. Other mobas have refrained from taking this route. So unless Riot is far far ahead of the curb and have some sort of theory on how to balance dynamic queue they are doing this out of stubbornness. And I really can't seem to wrap my mind around that. If I've missed something or don't understand Riot then that is also not my fault as the player base is constantly confused by Riot's decision making for the past year.
