Got punished For New Client Bug

So i was in queue for ranked, entering into champ select. In champ select, one of our opponents didnt pick a champ. The timer reaches zero, I didn't close the game yet. I look at the frozen client for about 15 seconds, nothing happens and the client stays stuck. I close the game, and when i go back in, i get -10 LP (i was one game from promos, now two) AND a 30 minute dodge timer.

So yeah, i got punished for this client.
