Cast on self : Reduce damage taken for 2/3/4/5/6 seconds by 20 %

Cast on ally : Any hard cc that would be applied on his target ally for the next 1/1.5/2/2.5/3 seconds is applied on Garen instead

Cast on ally range :200 ?

whats the point of this? garen isnt a tank.

imo, if something needs to be changed its his passive to be more versatile and give him some form of in combat sustain. hes currently the only juggernaut whos incapable of sustaining himself through a fight.

all his defense is frontloaded.

imo he could use a passive more similar to Volibear which is a lot more versatile. it is at the same time useful to sustain him when under pressure in lane, and through extended fights.

so does he still get his bonus armor and mr scaling for cs?

and if he decides to use it on an ally does he lose the bonus armor and mr for a time period?

plus its designed to reduce the effect of cc... therefor it would have to lose that passive if he cast it on an ally so he cant take reduced cc he would need to take full cc if he uses it for an ally

I would move scaling armor/mr to his passive.Remove the one he has now and would add new effect like : If multiple cc effects are applied on him at the same time they have reduced effect or something that reduces cc the more he takes it.

his passive and what makes garen garen is his health regen

so then you get rid of his hp regen which is what makes him strong in lane

completely losing his sustain would destroy him as a champion. how do you think hed survive aagainst any form of consistent poke?

Would his passive be overloaded if it included his regen + my idea ? I don't know,I just thought about this new W effect on ally and it seemed cool. Sorry for bad Englando

just doesnt feel like the right buff for him.

personally id like to see his Q give him just a small gap close with his speed boost... like he Qs and he starts his speed boost and at the end of it when you go to attack he gap closes just a bit and kinda have the animation of him dunking his sword on their head
