Let's see how he rolls out with the new adc changes and go from there. Imho he doesn't feel too gimpy when playing him.

It's not. The only thing making Corki good is the fact armor is way better than MR, but AD is so retardedly better than AP that Corki gets a good lategame. Remember that before his damage was transformed to magical, Corki was good midgame and trash lategame but almost nothing has changed in his damage output except it was changed to magical, and now Corki is a lategame powerhouse. Coincidence? I think not.
Not only do most people have 80+ base armor @ lvl 18 compared to at best 53 base mr, 39 on ranged ; but armor items have higher values (up to 100 armor, powerful anti-autoattack steroid with 
anticrit 
) while mr items are good against burst but that's pretty much it.
