Do i need to trade in lane to make Frost Fang a valid purchase?
Hunkcules3 votesNo, you do not NEED to. If you can poke just a little bit, that will still make it valuable. Here's why: Frostfang has a great upgrade compared to ancient coin. Ancient coins stat's are weak in comparison, (when comparing eye of the watchers to eye of the oasis)
Frostfang's stats' are very good for the gold you pay for it, and it's upgrade to the eye of watchers is a better item to have then the eye of oasis.
In games that I can't trade, or poke much in, I still take the spellthiefs and upgrade it, because the damage it provides, and stats, are more valuable then the ancient coin.

Hunkcules3 votesZombie ward is an incredibly great rune. It extends the time period of your wards, because when they would otherwise flutter out, they become "zombie wards" and last for an additional 180 seconds. Also, when you kill an enemy ward, you replace it with these zombie wards. Now, if this rune is so great, why doesn't Instinqt take it on Bard? Well, to be honest sometimes I do! The reason I prefer eyeball collection however, is because I enjoy having the extra damage. Vision is incredibly important, BUT sometimes zombie ward can be "wasted'. IF the rune isn't doing anything for you in a circumstance where a single team fight that is about to unfold near baron will determine the outcome of the game, Eyeball collection is doing more for me then the zombie ward. Try them both, see what works best for you! Hope I answered your question!
