Any way I can improve past Diamond5?
I'm in diamond 5 right now, and most of my ranked experience is losing and then winning. Any way I can break the loop and start winning more?

Honestly, you might find me unqualified to say this, being my highest elo ever was only gold. But in all truth, I do have something important I want to tell you.
The problem with most diamond players, and the reason why most never make it into challenger is purely because of arrogance and ignorance.
No offense to any diamond who reads this. But the reason so many get stuck is for they assume all because they are the top 1 percent players in the world. (correct me if i'm off in stats). That they already mastered the game and have nothing left to learn. That any advice anyone has to give them is flawed, pointless and incorrect.
This is the most stupid mind set to have. The most talented challengers are CONSTANTLY on the look out for new tips and tricks. Literally constantly.
You guys got to diamond for you learned and practiced heavily, and that itself is admirable. But I feel the moment some people get to diamond, they throw all the good habits they had out the window.
They stop listening to advice They stop admitting mistakes They practice less on their mechanics They expect to get carried all because they have diamond teamates
How did you get good?
You were always open to new tips You constantly admitted your flaws And you were practicing twenty four seven You carried yourself, you didn't rely on people to carry you
I don't know if you fall into this category of diamond players I am talking about, but take a moment and ask yourself if you are.
This is the best advice I can give you.
Some tips for diamond 5s:
Good map awareness. You want to be taking a glimpse of the map every second while in lane for immediate reaction to ganks and skirmishes. This was important for me. Better players constantly look at the map. You have to make it a habit. Ex pro players say you should not decrease the size of the mini map in settings. either.
You need to main champions and roles. Your lane opponents actually understand the champion power levels. Maining champions really start to shine around this level.
Know higher tier mechanics, for example, interrupting blitz hook or lee sin q with trundle pillar.
Do everything cheap in order to win, like level 2 top gank after red, camping lanes, etc.
Make jungle route unpredictable. For example, let's say you are blue side jungle. You took red, ganked bot lane. The enemy jungler is going to think you are going to blue golem now. WRONG. Go clear bot side jungle, and gank bot again.
Try to pick strong champions.
And don't play like 10 games in 1 day. I used to aim for 20lp up each day.
