Jungle Mains Dont Usualy Get The Thanks They Deserve

I used to main jungle and only jungle and after a while I got bored so I went twitch jungle I knew it was very off-meta and hard but I knew how to kite and what camps to get in order, it took much longer than usual to get to level 6 and get a damage item so my team said "omg this twitch is a noob cant even gank one lane" they should have known by looking at my items and at the board that I was 3 levels behind and I only had a tier 1 jungle item but they didn't and went on to be toxic towards me the entire game. this is a message to anyone who gets a off-meta jungle on there team, please don't say "no ganks" unleas you either asked for one directly or looked at there score and see that they are at least level 5 and have a item that does extra damage. I know some junglers don't need damage and they only need cc to gank but others like twitch or vayne or really any marksman that doesn't normaly go jungle you should cut them some slack. also don't spam (assistance ping) like fking 1000 times and think that youl be ganked because that's just idiotic and everyone will just think your having a seizure on your keyboard don't be toxic towards your jungle or youl never be ganked [slayer-jinx-wink]

If you're going twitch jungle, something I consider an off-main for myself, you should be ganking level 2 while all the other lanes are level 1. Start krugs smiteless > smite red buff for high health clear > gank bot/mid. Whoever is pushed further up/lowest hp/least mobile. Twitch is a guaranteed first blood for your team. Snowball after that. If you want to play off meta junglers don't blame your performance on the fact it's off meta. Make it work or just don't do it.

Twitch jungle is stupid strong

Pro Tip: get challenging smite not chilling on your very first back. It doubles your DoT damage and triples it with red buff. Snowball from there.

well no shit

im not saying they were right to flame you

but you flat out butchered your own jungle and brought the entire team down because of it all because " i was bored and wanted to do something that i use to do"

Jungle Twitch is generally picked for his early ganks and he's pretty popular at the moment.

Honestly, the most common route for him is to kill Red Buff and immediately gank top or mid lane. Twitch isn't really a champion who does full early clears; he generally clears camps between ganks and tries to snowball lanes when possible.

If you aren't using his stealth ganks, there are probably better junglers for your playstyle.

So you're saying that you decided to meme it up as Twitch jungle and fell super far behind due to clearing like ass, but your team didn't give you the thanks you deserve?

You didn't deserve any fucking thanks. You were an active liability to your team and probably handed the enemy jungler the map.

Junglers are some of the most deluded players, holy shit.

I have switched to maining jungle after being a support main for awhile. As far as getting no thanks I am used to it. I do like jungle though since I get to farm/cs while also supporting the team and focusing objectives. I get to place some deep wards while also clearing wards. I also can build some damage generally as I play bruiser jungles so I get some kills and help carry a game. I also can peel for carries.

I am really enjoying jungle, although some players (such as those you mentioned who ping assistance 1000 times) annoy me.

I'm a jungle main myself, and I view the jungle as the "jack of all trades" role. You fullfill the role of tank, juggernaut, assassin, mage, and in some cases adc. You're one of the main factors in terms of vision control, in both placing wards (deep and in friendly areas) and clearing them. You are the main force in terms of capturing objectives, or you can be a disposable pushing machine. You can directly influence the outcome of a lane (and while sometimes you really shouldn't, you always have the option to). You have relatively free farm and rein over the entire map. We control both the macro and micro aspects of the game and the punishments of messing up is much more visible than for most laners.

Players don't understand the sheer amount of decisions a real jungle main has to make, and how nearly all of them are tradeoffs that don't always favor you as a specific player, but focus on a macro setting. It's a shame because imo, jungle is clearly the most difficult role for SQ/small premades, as the only times it gets easier is if you have a really good team that knows how to pick up some of your jobs (as they should, like objective controls and vision) which is really only found in higher elo or 4+5 man premades with great teamwork and a deep understanding of the game.

Anyways, shout-out to any jungle mains! Whether old or new to the world of jungle, we know the difficulty of the game and I have respect for those that follow the same path.
