Nidalee problems.

So I'm trying to pick up nidalee and it's been one hell of a time trying. I got the clears down I think, but farming is just not fun, and it feels like my ganks rely on my Q, and my traps feel nearly useless. What's worse, I'm dying to some squishes even when I land my spear, simply because my full burst combo doesn't always kill, and I'm literally sitting in front of them with nothing but auto attacks to damage them. The hell do I do now?

I know nidalee is good but jesus christ her lack of dps after her burst is agitating, especially being used to elise's W, scittering frenzy. It feels like if my burst doesn't kill there's just nothing I can do but flash out.

lol... you know if half of the QQ complainers actaully TRIED the champ like you did.. they wouldn't be raging about how OP" she is.

what you need to do.. is pounce out... after your trade is over... you run.. and wait for your cooldowns to reset, you don't stay and fight.. then you try to land ANOTHER spear and go in again.. then pounce out. rinse and repeat

that's why your kitty skills your ultimate and your spear HAVE 5 and 6 seconds cooldowns, because if they were longer.. or your pounce didn't reset.. you could NEVER get away after you go in.

also yes.. traps ARE worthless for anything except clearing the jungler faster...

if you pounce in and you cant get out your dead... that's nidalee for you.

lol i wish it was as high as 1%...

but yeah as a nidalee main.. unless you HAVe the mechanic to pull off the lvl 1 trap clear (which outside of higher elos is next to impossible because you need to kite absolutely perfectly and if you take even 1 or 2 extra jungle camps hits you execute or need to back... and lose w/e lead you would have gotten by starting traps.

UNLESS you can do that.. then yeah.. nidalee is stupid easy to invade at lvl 2 becuase you wont have pounce to escape.. easy to shut down and to prevent from ever becoming an issue.

which is WHY at lower elos she has a crazy low sub 50% win rate and why at higher elos who CAN pull off this clear.. she has a crazy high winrate..

i am a nidalee main.. i have mained her since day 1 .. the first champ i bought.. and has ALWAYS been my main.. i know her mechanics inside and out...

i can't do the trap clear... it's THAT freaking hard.

and she is ONLY OP to the people who CAN do that clear..

which is why IF she gets nerfed.. just remove the hunted proc on traps... that would 100% eliminate the trap clear as its already nearly impossible to do. and it wouldn't hurt lower elos at all.. because no one can bloody freaking do it...

Damn, it's all about the trap clears? Too bad they removed the root on monsters, right?

that's what made it impossible for ne1 without stupid crazy kiting mechanics to do the clear.. before the removal of the root, anyone could do the clear.

which is everyone stopped complaining about her... until worlds

because god forbid the best league players in the world know how to kite properly..

and now everyone is like "nidalee is SOO OP" yeah, if you can do what the pros do with her.. she is OP.. for the rest of us mere mortals.. she is fine...

Not true. A great deal of players start Q+E, or Q+W for the reason that the Q into w start allows an easy clear, and w's mobility to gather an easy scuttle crab and invade potential. She has an extremely lethal level 2 with the Q W start. It's not 100% about the w clear. In retrospect, the w clear only shaves 5 seconds from the clear max.

although I do agree, the guy needs to learn how to take a trade. and landing a spear does not equal going in with cougar. You get move speed, in early levels just walk up and auto the person. Forcing them to be unable to gank without the risk of a counter gank being a free 2 for 0.

except nidalee is pick or ban in challenger and pro play and shes the strongest champion in the game if u master her.

yeah becuase those are the only people on the planet who do the starting pounce/trap clear jungle clear absolutely perfectly without getting the 1 ore two more auto attack what makes every other nidalee get executed. every other nidalee has to start Q and E and not get pounce until lvl 3.

it nothing to do with mastering "HER", its about having ABSOLUTELY PERFECT kiting mechanics.
