why is GP banned so much in LCS
He has a 100% LCS ban rate. I didn't think he was that good of a character, why such the high ban rate?

He is very strong right now. Does massive damage, good utility and zoning with barrels and ult, global ult, waveclear, can't be CC'd, he can pretty much do anything atm and does it well.
He's basically Lee Sin with a deceptive amount of presence and free resetable true damage.
biggest reason: his barrels with IE just deal up to 600 dmg. at the point a good farming GP gets IE (without any KDA) he can 2hit an adc lol
Because his ult and e are broken,E being able to deal over 1500 damage with a barrel,and ult got low counterplay and high base damage,along with GIGANTIC zoning and AOE alow
