Should new Log in screen have a dark mode?

I had decided to play some LoL at around 2am mountain time (when its really dark), and my client decided to update. I thought that it was a normal game update, but I was wrong. As soon as the new login screen came up my eyes burned because of the bright white. That's why I think Riot should add a dark theme/mode to the new login screen.
