Is this item a good pick up? I almost never see this item listed as a core item (apart from maybe Aatrox) when I look at user made guides for various AD champions and was wondering if this item is really good/core on any other champions at the moment? Also, under what situations would this item be a good pick up?

SonaTitsAndAss1 votesits pretty core on burst champs to help them since if its burst damage its burst heal plus tank champs that do 0 damage get 0 heal. thats who it made for and i know its pretty core on khazix making him unduelable but i wont pretend i know since that playstyle isnt mine but according to http://www.lolking.net/items/3812 the best champs r graves (surprise) khazix (like i said) riven (fits the ad burst thing i said) lucain pantheon miss fortune fiora zed wukong master yi and it has about a 60% winrate in games it is gotten

does well with it, especially now that you don't get Essence Reaver. Personally, I think you get either get this or maw as your 4th item now on GP.

MunchCrunchLunch1 votesad casters. assassins basically. and anyone that uses abilities to do damage more than basic attacks. I use it on zed and talon often and rengar too. i see a lot of people get it on kha zix. also darius and renekton can make good use of it if you wanna build a 2nd damage item.
its also really good on ad carries. graves especially .
