What is the "Channeling" icon supposed to be?

I'm looking at it, and nothing about it says "channeling" to me.

It looks like they mixed up some sort of "ice cancelled" icon... Like some sort of snowflake being cut in half.

Either that, or maybe some sort of ninja star being cancelled...

What was riot's design team trying to show with it, since every other icon makes sense?
