So... how exactly does one get an S?

So.... I played a game as Yasuo with my friend who was playing trundle. It said he got an S at the post-game screen, yet neither of us got chest. Even if he did get one, how come I didn't?

They haven't released how exactly it works. Positive K/D ratio, good number of assists, good farm, towers taken, and a victory through destroying the nexus--from what I've gathered surrenders make it harder to get an S.

But instead of focusing on getting an S, focus on having fun and doing your best, let the Ss naturally flow in. You will feel the difference between a game where you happen to get an S to one where you're trying to get an S. When you're trying to get an S you get angry at yourself over every little mistake when you naturally get an S you feel pumped because you know you did good.

Have you gotten a chest with Yasuo before? Not an S rank, just getting a chest. As for actually getting an S rank, it's all theory right now as to what stats are taken into consideration, such as kills, assists, deaths, cs, wards placed, etc. But none of it is solid, and it probably never will be to avoid spamming wards (if that happened to be one) or maybe even toxicity when it comes to kill stealing/dying.
