This is why, I hate playing support

That's a game where the only death was out of an execute (i tanked around 5 turret hits, and this kept my adc alive, while he got a kill, and i needed to go back in base anyway). I'm involved in 14 out of 22 kills....... which were like almost all jhin's kills (i missed on one of his), and the rest happened on the other side of the map. I'm not shen, I can't tp around for assists when team makes plays without support.

My wards helped us kill the enemy a bunch of times, but nobody cares about that, right? The build is pure utility (minus boots). I roamed around to help different team members, leaving Jhin in a good lane where he snowballed hard with lots of CS under turret = safe

I mean COME ON. Do I have to build pure AP for an S rank? I played almost perfectly that game. I hit all my ults, I had good wards, both of us did a great job of harassing the enemy bot lane, just look at Vayne's farm... We had full control over objectives (3 infernos), and I even participated in all of them. My damage was just short by 300 outside of Nocturen's, Yasuo's and Kennen's. Almost double of Vayne and no lets not mention janna.

Why would I even play support ever again? nothing what I do gets recognized by rito themselves >.< #always troll when you get support from now on

Alternatively, you can practice Support and get adept at being where you're needed. You can even play Soraka or Shen and help out when on the other side of the map (yes, Shen does work as a Support).

I have a Mastery 7 on Sona. You need, at least, 20 or more assists. I noticed the game is short too, ending only at 24 minutes, the longer the game is, the better chance of getting a better ranking. Continue to ward a lot and destroy wards and continue to assist your fellow team whenever they're about to fight.

after reading like 3 times i found out the point of this topic, S

as a 4 year support main, i have lv6 or 7 on almost all tanks supports and ultil champs. sometimes, its hard, you cant take cs nor kills. heres some tips. 1:try to survive in all situations 2:participate as much as you can 3:warding is important, but not key to getting an S, dont risk your 1800 hp bar to ward 4: take all free cs, most of the time you are in a team fight, but if you got the oppertunity, take all free cs 5: dont complain, just move on hope u get thatshiy

Universal advice of git gud.

Also some tips from a support main (and Sona enthusiast):

  1. Generally need like 20+ assists unless the game is really short.
  2. 50% Kill participation minimum (Shoot for like 66%-75% though).
  3. CS doesn't really matter.
  4. KSing 2-3 kill will usually seal the deal.

See attached image, it's not that hard. Especially with Sona.
