Brand Ultimate + Passive Counterplayless

How am I suppose to counterplay this champion skillshot-less combo?

I bought Magic resist, but the damage is too strong

I bought hourglass, but damn ulti and passive goes throught the hourglass, not dealing damage but BOUNCING to other ally champions instead of disappearing.

I flashed away from the teamfight, but the passive just procs anyway after 1 sec, dealing half my hp (passive? stronger than most champs ultimates in the game)

Plz explain to me :(

EDIT: People posting about his W and Q being skillshots, I understand, but that is not what this thread is about. I am complaining about Passive + Ultimate

Brand q and w are skill shots and most if the time u cant land q due to the minions in the way.....get beter positioning and bait out his ability because mana and cd are high realy game

don't walk near your minions, then he will have to choose to W to harras u or to clear the wave, if you're standing in your minions he does both

Brand is an AoE mage that punishes you for standing near each other. Move away from each other whenever Brand casts his ultimate. Move away from anyone who is about to make Brands passive explode. His E only applies one stack, and his other 2 spells are skillshots.

I've litterally seen people just panic, not moving away from each other, and proccing Brands passive on each other.... What are you even expecting?!
