Except stopping your walk suddenly is how a lot of people dodge a skill shot. When I see a Xerath charging his Q I walk in a direction and then stop with S key and they usually shoot it where I was going or where I would be if I walked backwards.

Depends. If RITO keeps doing ban-waves couple of times per season, I think they might get bored ... since after all, they won't benefit much from playing ranked then.
