why the tank meta best

look games are 4 fun , and like it or not more than half of the game are casual players . no we dont want to learn how to deal with cancer like fiora riven yasuo and lee . we want to just enjoy ourself .

tanks are usually easiest to play and bruiser champions are strong with tank meta also easy to play . the reason the tank meta is best is it allow minimum effort for the casual player to be good at the game .

i dont have mind numming hours to practice stupid combos and last hitting , most people dont . you know rito it is actually okay for a game to be ez to pick up ?

tank meta is good because i can focus on things like stats and gear choices because i like mmos where you do that . this is why we need a meta about tanks like in the past it was fun beating up people for fifteen seconds not getting killed by stupid burst champions like riven and syndra in less than half a second of time .

i saw people wanted tank meta before but stop talking about it so i thought i would bring it back into spotlight , people want tanks .

Watch a bunch of people upvote this title without reading the content.

What you are saying is basically the game should be dumbed down so that people in low elos can climb without practicing.

This game is already easy. some of these 'hard' combos are literally nothing when you compare them so simple combos in a fighting game.

Last hitting isnt hard.

Trading with your opponent while looking at the map, while tracking cooldowns, while reacting to your opponents movements, controlling your own, controlling the wave, controlling their wave, AND getting most of the minions is where is gets harder.

People don't do all of that in bronze-gold

I dont see why someone wouldnt want to get better at a game they like, isnt that the whole point?

The first time i picked up mario, i couldnt beat the last level, I couldnt get through the game. But as I played more and improved, I could. I started bronze, wanted to improve, now I'm d5 trash, still trying to improve. I love playing competitive fighters like mortal kombat or smash bros, because the improvement you've made as a player is pretty clear when you play against other people.

I do not play MMOs, but there is a VERY big difference between myself improving as a player, and the character itself improving.

Alot of macro play just isnt there because of the lack of communication to the other 4 players. I could know what we need to do, but we just wont do it because the team isnt really a team. I've climbed mostly on micro play imo.

Basically what I'm saying, is dumbing down a game makes players not want to spend anytime into it. I wouldn't have any fun playing a game already knowing I can beat the last level without any further skillsets or will lack competition for whatever reason.

The tank meta was fun. Tanks were a little overtuned, but, they were tanks. They wouldn't die in 3 seconds to a whoever. They would last Ten, which is nice. If you invest in an amount of items that makes you deal no damage, then you should last forever. They need to nerf base stats and buff items in general, to make this happen.

Tank metas are where DPS AD carries like Riven, Fiora and Yasuo shine, especially Fiora and Yasuo with their built in % true damage and armor shred, respectively.
