What champions scale off what, and how do i find out?

I want to know what champions scale off ad, ap, health, so on...all of them. So how do i find that information? I find it ridiculous that im level 14 and i still have no clue how scaling works, or how to find out what my champion scales off of. Also how do i see my champions stats in game? Im just buying random items and hoping it works out....it usually doesn't. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The color on the scalings tells you what they scale with:

IIRC

White is level orange is AD Light Green is AP Red is HP

Those are probably the most common scalings Fringe cases: Mana is Blue (I think only ryze,blitzcrank, and singed have mana scaling abilities) Yellow is armor Purple is MR Aatrox and Jhin have special ones

I think I got all the big ones. You can check the champ's page in the new client for exact numbers (or use the wiki: http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/League_of_Legends_Wiki )

To check advanced stats in game there is a little helmet icon near your character portrait that toggles advanced info, I believe the default hotkey is C

Also how do i see my champions stats in game?

IIRC, you have to press C (or click the small icon underneath your champion's portrait) to see your stats in-game.

If you want to see your ability damage, hover over the ability's icon and read the tooltip. The colour of the numbers is dependent on the type of stats the ability scales with (i.e. White is Base Damage for the ability, Orange is AD, Green is AP, Red is Health, etc).

Im just buying random items and hoping it works out.
