[Experiment] Gankplank Dorans Ring?

Since Mana is hard to conserve when Q farming, I am experimenting with Dorans Ring, is this good or Bad? need suggestions for more resource

its very good, I always get item 1056 first on Gangplank

since your W scales with ap it makes your heals stronger and getting lots of cs with your EQ lets your recover mana pretty fast

also if you prefer to play passively then I'd recommend getting item 1083 after item 3057

Doesn't corrupting pot fix your issues? By the time I'm out of mana, and potions, the enemy laner has already backed. Which means I can push the wave in and recall too.

Almost every Gangplank player has been starting Doran's Ring all season long.

Harass with Q for 10 gold from bandit (plus damage to the enemy). CS with melee attacks to keep your mana up.

It also makes your oranges stronger.
